What Is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical treatment that exfoliates dead skin cells and unclogs pores. With the use of a natural diamond tip and a gentle vacuum with an abrasive surface to gently “sand away” the outer layer of the skin, removing these devitalized skin cells from the top layer of your skin creates a smoother skin surface and accelerates healthy dermal production. Less aggressive than laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion is a non-surgical treatment that does not require an anesthetic. It is considered a very safe procedure for most skin types and for any skin color. It is most often used to rejuvenate the complexion of the face and neck, but we can perform the procedure on any area of skin. There is no downtime or recovery period following microdermabrasion.

What to Expect

Your Esthetician will then apply a customized treatment or mask that addresses your skin concerns or issues. Throughout the service you’ll be completely relaxed by stress-relieving aromas, warm towels and massage.
Recommended course for optimal results
In order to see significant results expect to undergo a series of treatments. It can take anywhere between 4-6 Microdermabrasion treatments to achieve your desired goal depending on your condition. Results of Microdermabrasion are long lasting, but not permanent. Once results are obtained from completing an initial series of treatments, a periodic follow up treatment every month is recommended in order to maintain results.
